France has entered an unprecedented phase of hosting major international sporting events.

Over the next 2 years, it will be the place to be for Sport, and the scene of major sporting performances and a multitude of festive and convivial gatherings: Rugby World Cup in 2023, Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024.

The Rugby World Cup 2023 will take place in France from September 8 to October 28.

The 48 organized matches will be played in 10 cities, and the 600,000 international visitors expected to attend will be able to share a great moment of conviviality around a 52-day celebration.

France is hosting the 10th Rugby World Cup, exactly 200 years after the sport was invented in 1823. Amazingly, it was also 200 years ago that the beret took its name, and became recognized as an everyday accessory. From a simple felt hat to a fashion accessory.

Throughout these 200 years, berets and rugby have gone hand in hand.

Strong in the same regions, a symbol of the South-West and of France, the beret is still widely worn today at all rugby events.

Given this heritage and reality, it seemed obvious to us that we should support these events with a strong association.
