How to take care of your beret ?

To preserve the quality and shape of your wool beret, opt for gentle, regular care.

1. A simple dry brushing is usually enough to remove dirt and refresh the fabric.

2. If a more thorough cleaning is necessary, hand-wash it in cold or slightly warm water using a very small amount of wool-specific soap. Clean only the affected areas without fully submerging the beret, and handle it carefully to avoid distorting its shape. Rinse gently without soaking it, then press it flat in a towel before letting it air dry away from any heat source, maintaining its shape.

3. For a deep clean, you can also take it to a dry cleaner that offers dry cleaning suitable for wool.

Tips:

1.    After rain or cleaning, you can insert a plate inside to help it retain its shape while drying.

2.    To remove dust and lint, dab the surface with adhesive tape, or gently rub it with the palm of your hand slightly moistened: the dirt will clump together and be easy to remove.
