The day after the Olympic torch passed through the Basque country, we take a close-up look today at the official Olympic beret, made in Bayonne.

It's red, black, grey or even pink; it comes in two sizes (adult or child), it's the official beret of the Olympic Games and it's made in Bayonne! The company "Le Béret français", based in the Arroussets district since 2018, won the contract. After the Rugby World Cup in 2023, the company produced 20,000 headgear featuring Phryge, the Olympic mascot, or flocked with the Paris 2024 logo. For this purpose, it called on four temporary reinforcements.
